Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Account Manager to own and nurture relationships with our existing corporate clients. In this role, you will focus on driving engagement, maximizing transaction volume, and cross-selling. Crucially, you will act as the strategic bridge between the market and our internal teams, using client feedback and market insights to drive product innovation and business process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Growth & Commercialization

  • Drive Transaction Volume: Proactively monitor client activity; implement strategies to increase transaction volumes, wallet share, and platform utilization.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify underutilized features or new product opportunities within the existing client portfolio to maximize revenue.
  • Retention Strategy: Monitor account health and "at-risk" indicators to prevent churn, ensuring high renewal rates and long-term loyalty.

2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Strategic Partnership: Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to align our solutions with clients' evolving business goals.
  • Issue Resolution: Champion the client’s cause internally, collaborating with Cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues that hinder trading volume.
  • Operational Maintenance: Manage day-to-day inquiries and periodic reviews (ongoing due diligence) efficiently to ensure uninterrupted service.

3. Product & Business Optimization

  • Voice of the Customer: Systematically gather and analyze client feedback, pain points, and feature requests. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations for the Product and Tech teams to enhance user experience.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor movements. Provide strategic input to management to refine business models and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the client journey (e.g., trading friction, operational delays) and collaborate with Operations to streamline internal workflows.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Relationship Management in Fintech, Payments, or Financial Services.
  • Proven track record in growing existing accounts and driving revenue targets.
  • Experience in Crypto/Web3 is a strong advantage.
  • Product Sense: Ability to understand technical products and articulate business requirements to technical teams. You don't just report problems; you suggest solutions.
  • Commercial Acumen: Sensitive to numbers, volume trends, and revenue opportunities.
  • Influencing Skills: Capable of persuading internal stakeholders (Product/Ops/Compliance) to prioritize client needs.
  • Language: Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Resilient: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proactive: You look for patterns in feedback and take initiative to drive change.
