Senior Manager / Vice President , Treasury Risk

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and review market risk and liquidity risk policies.
• Work closely with Finance, Treasury and other relevant departments to manage market risk and liquidity risk issues.
• Implement the market risk and liquidity risk stress test programme (e.g., the derive of stress test parameters from customer behaviour) with regular review on suitability and appropriateness of methodologies, parameters and scenario settings.
• Conducting scenario analysis and stress testing to assess the impact of market changes on the Group’s financial position.
• Monitor the Group’s market and liquidity risk levels to fulfil the requirements of relevant policies and limits.
• Establish metrics and deliver in a robust validated, consistent and repeatable process.
• Review and assess exposure trends and anomalies across market risk metrics and ensure timely escalation of any breaches or significant fluctuations.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc market risk and liquidity risk reports to senior management and regulators.
• Engage in interdepartmental initiatives involving senior stakeholders across Finance, Product, Technology and Compliance teams.
• Support professional support to the risk management team.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics or related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications in CPA, ACCA, CFA, FRM or equivalent will be an advantage.
• 8+ years of experience in second line of defense (focusing on market risk, treasury risk, liquidity risk). Candidates with daily MTM (mark-to-market) and Web3 experience will be a plus.
• Experience in Enterprise-wide Stress Testing exercises preferred.
• Practical experience and knowledge on the regulatory requirements for financial institutions (e.g. SFC and HKMA requirements). Hands-on experience with HKMA licensing process, SFC VASP regime implementation, Payment system risk controls is a plus.
• A good team player with sound interpersonal and communication skills. Good command of English language and proficiency in Mandarin.
